Owl Reproduction

Owls are monogamous. Breeding occurs during the spring. Owl eggs are white and almost spherical, they range from a few to a dozen, depending on species. Owls do not construct nests. They take over the abandoned nests of other birds. Owls defend their nests against potential intruders.
